The gold standard biomarker CA19-9, approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for monitoring response to treatment, correctly identifies only 44% of cases but the addition of CA199.STRA ramped that up to 71% while maintaining a low false positive rate in a recent case control study.
