LIQUID STABLE AND NIST VERIFIED CLINICAL REFERENCE MATERIALS FOR LITHIUM AVAILABLE FROM VERICHEM

VERICHEM LABORATORIES now offers two, distinct multi-level test kits of clinical reference materials for the calibration verification of Lithium assays.  Intended for use with direct and indirect ISE, colorimetric assays, and flame photometer, the Electrolyte Standard Kit (List No. 9200) and the Serum ISE Standard Kit(List No.9240)contain NIST verified, gravimetric concentrations of Lithium as an integral component. In addition to calibration verification testing applications, these reference materials can also be used for quality control monitoring, method evaluations, post maintenance testing, and routine troubleshooting. Both products are valuable tools for routine clinical testing, research applications, and IVD product development and support and are certain to meet the needs of many clinical laboratorians.

These innovative formulations are protein-based, liquid stable, and ready-to-use – no reconstitution, supplemental diluents, or dilution procedures are required for use. The Electrolyte Standard Kit features a Lithium concentration range of 0.50 mmol/L to 5.5 mmol/L with 21-month stability claim, while the Serum ISE Standard Kit offers a concentration range of 0.20 mmol/L to 4.60 mmol/L with 18-month stability.  Both products utilize a proprietary stabilization process without azides, glycols, or surfactants, offering maximum electrode protection. The material’s unique matrix formulation, set point design, and equidistant target concentrations meet current CLIA requirements for verification materials with known values for the determination of a clinical system’s accuracy, sensitivity, linearity, and reportable range. Plus, VERICHEM’s multi-level Lithium reference materials also include gravimetric concentrations for Sodium, Potassium and Chloride and are packaged using an ergonomically designed kit configuration and filled within easy to use, translucent polyethylene dropper vials.  Each level contains an ample 15.0 mL of material, making them ideal for numerous calibration verification and troubleshooting events.

VERICHEM LABORATORIES serves the clinical laboratory testing and in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) manufacturing markets with a comprehensive line of calibration verification products, chemistry standards, verification materials, and support services  ̶  including FREE and instant online data reduction reports for CLIA compliance.
